The 4th International Conference on Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (4th IC-CCHF) was held on October 5–7, 2026, in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The conference focused on current issues related to the epidemiology, diagnosis, prevention, and study of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, as well as the exchange of experience and scientific findings among leading scientists and specialists in this field.
As part of the Institute’s ongoing grant-funded project “Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever: Monitoring and Study of the Molecular, Genetic, and Biological Properties of the Causative Agent,” the results of the research were presented by Project Leader, Professor Zh.K. Koshemetov, and project researchers M.Zh. Kaukarbayeva and O.N. Serikbayev.
The participation of Institute staff in international scientific events contributes to the development of scientific cooperation in the field of biosafety, professional knowledge exchange, and strengthening international collaboration in domestic scientific research.
