- Determination of the resistance of crop germplasm to common and harmful fungal diseases in Kazakhstan.
- Study of the race composition of populations of biotrophic and hemibiotrophic plant pathogenic fungi.
- Preservation and replenishment of the germplasm of cereal crops at NIIPBB.
- Maintenance of the collection of phytopathogenic fungi of cereal crops in viable condition.
- Conducting registration trials of pesticides (chemical agents).
