On the eve of the Republic Day, a solemn ceremony honoring the best representatives of Kazakhstan’s healthcare system took place in the capital.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, high state awards were conferred upon heads of national medical and scientific centers, doctors, professors, heads of departments and chairs of medical universities, nurses, and ambulance drivers.
More than 100 healthcare professionals received state awards, and over 1,300 individuals were awarded departmental honors. Among the awardees are employees of the Research Institute for Biological Safety Problems (RIBSP):
Aslan Amangeldievich Kerimbayev, Acting General Director of the Research Institute for Biological Safety Problems;
Kuandyk Dauletbaevich Zhugunissov, Head of the Laboratory of the National Collection of Microorganisms;
Sergey Sergeevich Papengeim, Chief Engineer of the RIBSP.
