The international agricultural exhibition Salon De Agriculture 2024 was held in Paris, France, from February 23 to March 1.
The exhibition has been held since 1964, and the participation of Kazakhstani delegates has become a historically significant event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the exhibition
From Kazakhstan, the exhibition was attended by RIBSP, QazBioPharm, KazRVI, the Rahat confectionery factory and other institutions of the biotechnological and food industry.
There were many institutions at the exhibition that showed interest in biotechnological products manufactured in our country. One of them is CIRAD (a French organization for agricultural research and international cooperation working on the sustainable development of tropical and Mediterranean regions).
One of the following institutions that showed interest and entered into negotiations was the French College of Engineering – VET Agro Sup (National Institute of Higher Education and Research in Nutrition, Animal Health, Agronomic and Environmental Sciences).
The possibilities of further cooperation and implementation of joint projects in the field of science were discussed with these institutions
It is necessary to note the importance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in France, which worked hard so that Kazakhstani delegates could take part in this exhibition! The group headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to France Arystankulova Gulsara Mereevna organized the participation of our delegates in the exhibition at a very high level.
During the exhibition, Gulsara Mereevna held an official meeting at the Embassy of Kazakhstan and gathered delegates from our country.
Representatives of the French agricultural industry were invited to the meeting, topical issues were discussed and negotiations were held.
In general, at the exhibition, which took place during the week, foreign individuals and institutions working in the field of biotechnology were provided with information about biologics produced at NIIPB. We hope that these events and meetings will solve the problem of domestic products going abroad and joint scientific research will be conducted!
