Deputies of Senate of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the Committee on Agrarian Issues, Nature Management and Development of Rural Areas Dzhumagaziev Mukhtar Sabirovich, Musin Duisengazy Magauyanovich and Raimbekov Kanalbek Utzhanovich, head of the department for interaction with the Committee on Agrarian Issues, Environmental Management and Rural Development visited the Research Institute of Biological Safety Problems.
During the visit, the deputies got introduced with the activities and scientific achievements of the Institute. They also discussed current issues and problems in the agricultural sector, in particular, issues in the field of biosafety and veterinary medicine.
To solve problems about veterinary medicine area, the issues of combating and preventing very dangerous diseases, the necessity of holding systemic work, personnel training, including the solution of social issues for rural veterinarians, were discussed. In this regard, the delegation with the leadership of the Institute discussed the role of veterinary medicine in ensuring the biological safety of the country, noted the topical aspects, problematic issues and ways to solve them. For their part, the deputies of the Senate of the Parliament expressed their opinion on the issues of veterinary medicine and the agrarian sector in general, and the need to prepare recommendations for improving the veterinary service of the republic, improving its quality and efficiency at the next meeting of the Parliamentary Hour.
Deputies of the Senate of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan also visited a biopharmaceutical plant to familiarize themselves with the conditions of production of the QazVac vaccine.
