On March 6, 2025, in the city of Almaty, at the Gylym Ordasy building, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a solemn ceremony for the first-ever awarding of the Academician Nailya Bazanova Prize for outstanding women scientists in the country. The event brought together around 400 leading female scientists, researchers, educators, and heads of higher education institutions and scientific organizations, all of whom have made a significant contribution to the advancement of science in Kazakhstan.
