In December 2024, RIBSP young scientists Almezhanova M.D., Shynybekova G.O. and Kurmasheva A. completed a scientific internship at the University Clinic of Freiburg (Germany) within the framework of the budget program 005 of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The internship was dedicated to studying modern methods of genetic engineering and interacting with leading specialists from the Institute of Infection Prevention and Hospital Hygiene, which is an important part of the clinic and a recognized center for developing infection control strategies.
During the training, the participants studied the latest approaches to genome editing and exchanged experiences with foreign colleagues. The acquired knowledge and established scientific connections will contribute to the introduction of advanced technologies in the development of diagnostic drugs and the creation of joint scientific projects in the field of biomedicine.
