On November 12-14, 2024, as part of cooperation with the participants of the Biosafety Consortium, employees of the Research Institute for Biological Safety Problems attended a 24-hour training course on the topic: “Fundamentals of good laboratory practice of the OECD GLP (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development). This course covered the basics of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), the historical background to the emergence (development) of GLP, the organization of personnel, quality assurance, conducting and documenting research. The course was conducted by a highly qualified specialist Dubeshko S.Yu.

Participation in the course on the basics of Good Laboratory practice (GLP) allowed specialists to:

  • Study the key principles of GLP, including standardization of laboratory processes, documentation and quality control,
  • Acquire the practical skills necessary to comply with GLP standards in daily work,
  • Increase the level of training for laboratory research with the guarantee of accuracy, reproducibility and reliability of data,
  • Obtain certificates confirming their GLP competencies, which contributes to professional growth and recognition at the national level.

In general, the course has strengthened the professional skills of specialists, which contributes to improving the quality of laboratory research and the implementation of international standards.
